OTAC Connect publishes contractor listings and related notes so occupational therapists can look for people who work on home adaptations. A listing is information. You should make your own assessment before you suggest or appoint anyone.

We do not invent listings to fill a gap. What you can search, once you have joined, is what has been reviewed and published.

A nomination records that an occupational therapist recommended a contractor. If it is approved, a listing may show OT Nominated. That is not a certification, a guarantee of workmanship, or a promise about future work. OTAC Connect does not certify contractors.

New accounts need the community access code shared through the OTAC network, and a choice of role. People who already have an account sign in as usual. Directory membership for this community is currently free. We will explain any future charge before it applies.

Some further help, including Collective Purchasing, is separate from membership and is arranged only after a listing is claimed and approved.

OTAC Connect is partnered with OTAC, the Occupational Therapy Adaptation Conference programme run by Promoting Independence Limited. The partnership identifies this directory alongside that programme.

OTAC Connect is a separately owned undertaking. It is not the same legal entity as Promoting Independence Limited, and it is not the organiser of OTAC events. Bookings for those events stay on OTAC.

Use the directory lawfully. Do not put client names, health details, or other sensitive case information into a nomination, a claim, or a message. Do not misuse an account, attempt to break into one, or interfere with the site.

Do not present a nomination, an OT Nominated mark, or a listing as a certification by OTAC Connect or by OTAC.

The OTAC Connect name and lockup are used with permission. OTAC, the Occupational Therapy Adaptation Conference, and Promoting Independence Limited remain the names of their own owners. Do not copy the lockup or suggest that your business is OTAC Connect.

You keep ownership of the wording you submit. You give OTAC Connect permission to store it, review it, and publish what you have agreed can be public, including a listing based on an approved nomination or claim.

The directory is provided as information. Listings can be incomplete or out of date, and a recommendation is only as current as the nomination that was reviewed. To the extent the law allows, OTAC Connect is not liable for loss arising from relying on a listing, a nomination, or an event date shown here.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law of England and Wales does not allow us to limit. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales decide disputes about them.
